DYTRAN was founded in Buffalo, New York in 1980 by current President Nick Change. Nick's extensive experience in piezoelectric sensor design dates back to 1959, when he started working for piezoelectric sensor manufacturers. DYTRAN offers a wide range of sensors for a variety of applications, including aerospace, automation, medical, laboratory and industrial. The sensor range covers small to seismic applications, as well as different triaxial acceleration sensors. Force sensors: Dytan's force sensors can measure dynamic forces from millillion pounds to thousands of pounds. They are ideal for dynamic point force measurements in modal analysis and other forces requiring high response times and high natural frequencies. Pressure sensors: DYTRAN pressure sensors can be used in automotive research, including airbag and spark plug pressure analysis.
